The EU is seeking to pass legislation that would seriously disrupt not only finding news, but also impact YouTube content. I don't like the precedence this bill sets that forces search engines and online news aggregators to pay licensing fees when displaying article snippets.

I was reading with interest what Gary Illyes had to say on his AMA as reported by SEL, until I got to the part where he said "Dwell time, CTR ... are generally made up crap." I know FOR CERTAIN, BY PERSONAL TESTING that SERPS CTR has a dramatic influence on rankings. And while I can appreciate that most Google's employees may not know the nuances of all of the code that comprises the rank algorithm, it's just down right insulting when someone in a mouth-piece position makes a remark that is both defaming and utterly wrong.
