Yo! It's been a busy week. We restarted our regular Member's Only webinars, had our first Total Video Domination Coaching webinar, and talked about several things going down in the industry over on our FB page.
Here are the details:
This week we kicked off the return of our weekly Member’s no-fluff, info-packed webinars! We looked at one page websites and how to SEO the darn thing so it can rank!
Next week we will be discussing Micro Moments and how it's reinventing the way companies approach marketing to drive long-term value. Don't miss it!
Replays can be found in our Ninja Training area (plus a whole lot more...) - Shameless plug because some folks told me they didn't know I had this course for sale:
Total Video Domination
We had our first group coaching webinar for our Total Video Domination (TVD) course. We covered laying the foundation for successful videos and real-time transcriptions for live streams. Everyone expressed a desire for the third webinar to be an over the shoulder (OTS) for optimizing the video campaign for search engines.
It's not too late to jump in and access the group coaching LIVE!

The EU is seeking to pass legislation that would seriously disrupt not only finding news, but also impact YouTube content. I don't like the precedence this bill sets that forces search engines and online news aggregators to pay licensing fees when displaying article snippets.

I was reading with interest what Gary Illyes had to say on his AMA as reported by SEL, until I got to the part where he said "Dwell time, CTR ... are generally made up crap." I know FOR CERTAIN, BY PERSONAL TESTING that SERPS CTR has a dramatic influence on rankings. And while I can appreciate that most Google's employees may not know the nuances of all of the code that comprises the rank algorithm, it's just down right insulting when someone in a mouth-piece position makes a remark that is both defaming and utterly wrong. (soapbox off)
